Herefordshire Council Notice of Intention
NOTICE is hereby given that Herefordshire
Council, as highway authority, intend, under its
relevant powers, to make the C1308 Bye Street, Ledbury Temporary Closure Order 2018 to
temporarily prohibit the use by vehicles from
driving northbound on Bye Street to access the
A449 High Street. OS Grid Ref: 371067 / 237728.
The alternative route for those affected by
the proposal is via the A417 Leadon Way bypass
onto the B4216 New Street onto the A449
The Homend.
The said closure is required due to the erection
of a full scaffold to N.o 2 and the likelihood of
danger to the public while the works are taking
place. The said closure will come into force on
8th April 2018 and may remain in force for a
maximum period of 18 months, (unless extended
with the consent of the Secretary of State), but
the works are expected to be completed within
