(ENSTONE PARISH) (SPEED LIMITS) ORDER 20**
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Oxfordshire County Council
proposes to make the above order under the Road Traffic
Regulation Act 1984 and all other enabling powers.
The effect of the order, as a result of road safety concerns from
Enstone Parish Council, is to introduce a 40mph speed limit on
the B4022 and B4030 in place of the current national (60mph)
speed limit on the following lengths of road:
a) B4022 – from the terminal point of the 30mph speed limit
north of Cleveley Road northwards to a point 50 metres north
of the B4030;
b) B4030 – from the 30mph speed limit east of the unnamed
road to Little Tew, eastwards for 300 metres.
The existing Oxfordshire County Council (Enstone Parish) (Speed
Limit) Order 2016 will be revoked/replaced.

between 9am and 4.30pm Monday to Friday; and at and at
Chipping Norton Library, Goddards Lane, OX7 5NP, 9.30am to
5.30pm Monday, 9.30am to 5.30pm Tuesday & Wednesday,
9.30am to 7pm Friday, and Saturday 9.30am to 4pm.
Objections to the proposal, specifying the grounds on which
they are made and any other representations should be sent in
writing to the address below no later than 27 April 2018. The
County Council will consider objections and representations
received in response to this Notice. They may be disseminated
widely for these purposes and made available to the public.
