NOTICE OF INTENTION TO AMEND A CHARITABLE TRUST
Notice is hereby given that Durham County Council (in its
capacity as the trustee, not as a local authority) proposes to
amend a statutory trust aligned to the:
• Former Castleside Youth Club, Rowley Bank,
Castleside DH8 9QT.
Amendments to the statutory trust will allow the site to be
sold and the proceeds used for the public benefit to promote
the education and/or to provide educational facilities for
people under the age of 25 years within the Castleside area in
such ways as the trustees think fit. Any amendment(s) to the
purpose(s) of the trust is subject to agreement with the Charity
Commission.
A plan showing the area concerned may be inspected at the
offices of Asset Management, County Hall, Durham, DH1 5UL.
Any representations or objections to the proposed change to the
statutory trust should be made in writing to Claire Hanson at the
address below or by emailing claire.hanson@durham.gov.uk
before the 23rd April 2018 and should state the grounds for
objection.
