CITY OF BRADFORD METROPOLITAN DISTRICT COUNCIL
TOWN END ROAD, CLAYTON
TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC (NO 793) ORDER
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that City of Bradford Metropolitan District
Council by reason to enable works proposed to be executed on behalf of
BT Openreach on or near Town End Road, Clayton has made the above
named Order the effect of which is that no person shall proceed in the length
of Town End Road from its junction with The Avenue to a point opposite No.
10 Town End Road.
PROVIDED THAT such prohibition shall not extend to emergency or to
vehicles being used in connection with the works to be carried out on the
said length of road.
Pedestrian access will be maintained at all times.
Alternative routes for vehicular traffic affected by the Order are available via
Town End Road (unaffected section), Low Lane, Cockin Lane, Carter Lane,
Thornton Road, Albert Road, Sand Beds, Scarlet Heights, Baldwin Lane,
The Avenue and vice versa.
The Order comes into operation at 09:30 hours on 21st March 2018 and
remains in force until 15:30 hours on 21st March 2018 (although the closure
can remain in force for up to eighteen months if necessary).
