CITY OF BRADFORD METROPOLITAN DISTRICT COUNCIL
SPRING LANE, BINGLEY
TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC (NO 791) ORDER
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that City of Bradford Metropolitan District
Council by reason to enable works to underground apparatus proposed to
be executed on behalf of BT Openreach on or near Spring Lane, Bingley
has made the above named Order the effect of which is that no person shall
proceed in the length of Spring Lane from its junction with Otley Road for a
distance of approximately 200 metres in a south easterly direction.
PROVIDED THAT such prohibition shall not extend to vehicles being used
in connection with the works to be carried out on the said length of road.
Pedestrian access will be maintained at all times.
Alternative routes for vehicular traffic affected by the Order are available
via Spring Lane (unaffected section), Glovershaw Lane, Bingley Road,
Hawksworth Road, Potter Brow Lane, Mill Lane, Goose Lane, Bingley Road,
Otley Road and vice versa.
The Order comes into operation at 09:30 hours on 19th March 2018 and
remains in force until 15:30 hours on 19th March 2018 (although the closure
can remain in force for up to eighteen months if necessary).
