GLOUCESTERSHIRE COUNTY COUNCIL TEMPORARY CLOSURE OF A46 MERRYWALKS, STROUD DISTRICT
Gloucestershire County Council has made an order to
temporarily close under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984
(as amended) the A46 Merrywalks at the railway bridge for a
distance of approximately 40 metres.
The reason for the closure is to carry out a safety
examination of the railway bridge structure.
The road is expected to be closed between the hours of 22.00
on 26th March 2018 until 06.00 on the 27th March 2018 or
until the works have been completed. However should it be
necessary to continue the closure for longer than this period
the Order can authorise the closure for up to eighteen months.
