SWINDON BOROUGH COUNCIL REVOCATION TRAFFIC ORDERS
Notice is hereby given that Swindon Borough Council made
the following Orders under the relevant sections of the Road
Traffic Regulation Act 1984 and all other enabling powers
and in consultation with the Chief Officer of the Police.
THE SWINDON BOROUGH COUNCIL (BUS LANES,
BUS GATES AND BUS ONLY ROADS) ORDER 2014
AMENDMENT ORDER (No. 2) 2018
The Order will revoke the bus lane on the eastbound
carriageway on Wootton Bassett Road east of Mannington
Roundabout.
SWINDON BOROUGH COUNCIL (COMMERCIAL ROAD
BACKROAD) (WEIGHT RESTRICTION)
REVOCATION ORDER 2018
The Order will revoke the restriction of commercial vehicles
over 3 tons on Commercial Road Backroad alongside No 94
Deacon Street.
The Orders will be operative as of 19 March 2018 and copies
of the Orders may be inspected at the One Stop Shop, Wat
Tyler House, Euclid Street, Swindon during opening hours.
If you wish to question the validity of the Orders, or of any
provision contained therein on the grounds that it is not within
the powers conferred by the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984
or on the grounds that any requirements of that Act or of any
instrument made thereunder has not been complied with in
relation to the Orders, you may, within 6 weeks from 14 March
2018 apply to the High Court for this purpose.
