Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (As Amended)
(Footpaths MV-712, MV-713 Malvern & parts of
Footpaths MV-714 & MV-716, Malvern)
(Temporary Closure) Order 2017
NOTICE is hereby given that the Order made by
Worcestershire County Council on
7 September 2017 the effect of which is to close that
part of the following lengths of Footpaths:-
(a) To close the entire lengths of Footpaths MV-712
and MV-713, Malvern.
(b) To close part of Footpath MV-714, Malvern from
between its junction with Footpath MV-713 and
U63127 Brook Farm Drive.
(c) To close part of Footpath MV-716 from between
its junction with Footpath MV-881 and U63130 Brook
Farm Drive.
The Order which was due to expire on 17 March 2018
has been continued in force with the approval of
the Secretary of State for the Department for
Transport until the works to which it relates have
been completed or until 17 March 2019 whichever
is sooner. Any further extension will require the
approval of the Secretary of State.
The Order has been made to facilitate the construction
of a new residential housing development.
Alternative routes:
(a) Footpaths MV-714, MV-712 & MV-716, Malvern –
via U63127 and U63130 Brook Farm Drive, U63125
Watkins Way, U63124 Bluebell Close, B4211 Guarlford
Road and Footpath MV-881, Malvern, and vice versa.
(b) Footpaths MV-712 & MV-713, Malvern then along
Footpaths MV-881, MV-705 and MV-701, Bridleways
MV-704, Malvern and HK-502, Hanley Castle and
MV-706, Malvern and vice versa.
(St Anns Road, Malvern)(Temporary Closure)
Order 2018
Proposed Order: to close that part of St Anns Road,
Malvern from its junction with U63101 Happy Valley
to its junction with B4218 Wyche Road in order to
facilitate Severn Trent works.
Exemptions: to permit access to any land or premises
fronting the highway affected where there is no
other form of access; and to allow the works to be
undertaken.
Alternative route: U63100 St Anns Road, A449 Belle
Vue Terrace, A499 Wells Road and vice versa.
Maximum duration: 18 Months. Anticipated duration:
1 day Commencing: 11 April 2018.
(Edith Walk, Malvern)(Temporary Closure &
Temporary Suspension of One Way) Order 2018
Proposed Order: to close that part of Edith Walk,
Malvern from its junction with A449 Belle Vue
Terrance to its junction with C2232 Graham Road in
order to remove the red blocks and tarmac and
reinstate tactile crossings.
The Order will also suspend the one-way traffic
restriction on Edith Walk, Malvern to enable traffic to
travel in both directions for the duration of the works.
Diversion route: B4211 Church Street, C2232 Graham
Road and vice versa.
Maximum duration: 18 Months. Anticipated
duration: 3 nights (19:00hrs – 06:00hrs): Commencing:
9 April 2018.
(C2064 Smith End Green, Leigh Sinton)(Temporary
Closure) Order 2018
Order made: to close that part of C2064 Smith End
Green, Leigh Sinton from its junction with C2227
Sherridge Road to its junction with C2245 Hopton
Lane in order to facilitate BT cabling works by Barden
Network.
Exemptions: to permit access to any land or premises
fronting the highway affected where there is no
other form of access; and to allow the works to be
undertaken.
Alternative route: C2064 Stitchins Hill, C2250 Sandin,
C2250 Coles Green, C2227 Sherridge Road and
vice versa.
Maximum duration: 18 Months. Anticipated duration:
3 days Commencing: 21 March 2018.
(B4208 Berrow)(Temporary Closure) Order 2018
Proposed Order: to close that part of B4208 Berrow
from its junction with C2216 Camers Green to its
junction with C2210 Berrow in order to facilitate
Western Power works.
Exemptions: to permit access to any land or premises
fronting the highway affected where there is no
other form of access; and to allow the works to be
undertaken.
Alternative route: B4208 Berrow, A438 Berrow,
Murder House Lane & C2210 Berrow.
Maximum duration: 18 Months. Anticipated duration:
9 days Commencing: 10 April 2018.
