The following Council offices will be closed on
Friday 30th March and Monday 2nd April.

REGISTRATION OF BIRTHS, DEATHS AND MARRIAGES
All registration offices will be closed on Friday
30th March and Monday 2nd April. A Registrar can
be contacted (for emergencies) by calling 01875
612818, 9am – 12 noon, on Monday 2nd April.

SCOTTISH WELFARE FUND
Scottish Welfare Fund Team will be unavailable from
5.00pm on Thursday 29th March, however any claims
received after 4.30pm may be referred to Emergency
Social Care Services. The office will re-open at
9.00am Tuesday 3rd April. If you are in crisis during
this period, please contact Emergency Social Care
Services on FREEPHONE 0800 731 6969. Scottish
Welfare Fund applications can be made online 24/7
at www.scottishwelfarefund@eastlothian.gov.uk
ROAD SERVICES/TRANSPORTATION
Please contact 01875 612818 for all Road and
Transportation emergencies.

Libraries will be closed from Friday 30th March through
