LANCASHIRE COUNTY COUNCIL
(CHURCH BROW AND CHURCH STREET, CLITHEROE, RIBBLE VALLEY BOROUGH) (TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF THROUGH TRAFFIC) ORDER 2018
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Lancashire County Council intend to make an Order under Section 14(1) (a) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended, the effect of which will be to temporarily prohibit traffic on the roads set out in this notice.
1. No person shall cause any motor vehicle to proceed over the following lengths of highway;

i. Church Brow, Clitheroe from its junction with B6478 Waddington Road for a distance of 121 metres in a South Westerly direction.

ii. Church Street, Clitheroe from its junction with B6748 York Street for a distance of 109 metres in a North Easterly direction.

2. The prohibition will be operative from 1300 hours to 1500 hours on Sunday 1st April or until completion of the works within this period.

3. An alternative route for vehicular traffic affected by the closure is via:-

King Street - Railway View Avenue - Railway View Road - B6478 Waddington Road
The temporary prohibition is necessary to allow utility works to be carried out.
