20Mph Speed Limit Order 2018
NOTICE is hereby given that Caerphilly County
Borough Council in exercise of its powers
under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (as
amended) and all other enabling powers and
after consulting with the Chief Officer of Police
propose to make the above order the effect of
which will be to:
Amend the existing national speed limit to a
30mph speed limit -
• From the eastern end of Rudry Village to
the Rudry Parish Hall
Amend the existing national speed limit to a
20mph speed limit -
• From the Rudry Parish Hall to a point
approximately 75 metres south-east of the
entrance to the property Nant y Berllan
(east of Rudry Primary School)
• From Rudry Primary School in a northerly
direction to its junction with the footpath
to Rudry Parish Hall
A copy of the proposed Order, a statement of
the Council’s reasons for making the Order and
maps showing the affected lengths of roads may
be inspected at the offices of Caerphilly County
Borough Council, Ty Penallta, Tredomen Park,
Ystrad Mynach, Hengoed, CF82 7PG during
normal office hours (Monday to Friday). Further

Any objection to the proposed Order with the
grounds for making it should be made in writing
to the ADDRESS ABOVE by 6th April 2018.
Correspondence may be disclosed as required by
the Freedom of Information Act 2000.
