SWINDON BOROUGH COUNCIL VARIOUS PROPOSED TRAFFIC ORDERS
Notice is given of the Council’s intention to propose the
Orders listed below under the provisions of The Road Traffic
Regulation Act 1984:
1. Swindon Borough Council (Waiting and Loading Restrictions
and Parking Places Consolidation) Order 2017 (Variation
No. 9) Order 2018 (ref: ZA/TRO/Rodbourne)
Rodbourne Road – Revoke ‘Limited Waiting 2 Hours Mon
- Sat 9am - 6pm No Return 1 Hour’ on the east and west
side at the junction with Manton Street and Romsey Street
to be replaced with No Waiting at any Time’.
Jennings Street – Revoke the ‘No Waiting Mon - Fri 8.30am
- 6pm’ on the north side to be replaced by ‘no waiting at
any time’ and revoke the ‘No Waiting at any Time’ on the
north and south side.
Romsey Street (north side), Hughes Street (North Side),
Linslade Street (North and South Side) and Groves Street
(West Side) – Introduction of ‘No waiting at any Time’.
2. Swindon Borough Council (Waiting and Loading Restrictions
and Parking Places Consolidation) Order 2017 (Variation
No. 10) Order 2018 (ref: ZA/TRO/Station Road)
To vary the ‘no waiting at any time’ restriction on Station
Road, Highworth.
3. Swindon Borough Council (Dorcan Way) (Restricted Road)
Order 2018
To revoke a section of the 40mph Speed Limit on Dorcan Way
at the mini roundabout junction with Greenbridge Road to be
replaced with a restricted road status with a 30mph speed
limit identified with the presence of street lighting.

the One Stop Shop, Wat Tyler House, Swindon for 21 days and
online at www.swindon.gov.uk/trafficregulationorders
Objections or representations to the proposed Orders should
be made in writing to reach the undersigned, quoting their
reference by no later than 30 March 2018.
