Herefordshire Council Notice of Making
NOTICE is hereby given that Herefordshire
Council, as highway authority, under its relevant
powers, have made the C2088 from the C1059
to the Worcestershire Boundary, Hampton
Charles, Temporary Closure Order 2018 to
temporarily prohibit the use by vehicles on the
following road: C2088 from the C1059 to the
Worcestershire Boundary between Holloway Cottage and Springfield Farm OS Grid Ref:
360030 / 260846. The alternative route for those
affected by the proposal is via the C1059 onto the
U95203 onto the C2088 and vice versa.
The said closure is required due to the installation of
a new gas connection and the likelihood of danger to
the public while the works are taking place. The said
closure will come into force on 19th March 2018
and may remain in force for a maximum period of
18 months, (unless extended with the consent of the
Secretary of State), but the works are expected to be
completed within 5 days. Any queries in relation to
