(Link Footpath F40612 & F40613 Scobell Close,
Pershore)(Temporary Closure) Order 2018
Order made: to make an Order to close that part of
Link Footpath F40612 & F40613 Scobell Close, Pershore
from its junction with B4084 Worcester Road to its
junction with U47121 Scobell Close in order to
facilitate footway reconstruction works by WCC.
Exemptions: to permit access to any land or premises
fronting the highway affected where there is no
other form of access; and to allow the works to
be undertaken.
Alternative route: – U74122 Bedford Close, U47119
Loughmill Road, U47120 Hudson Close, B4084
Worcester Road and vice versa.
Maximum duration: 18 Months. Anticipated duration:
13 days: Commencing: 9 March 2018.

Consolidation Order 2004 (Variation) Order 2018
[Prohibition of Waiting on Boat Lane, Abbot
Chyrytons Place and Huxleys Way, Evesham] On 22
February 2018 Worcestershire County Council made
an Order the effect of which will prohibit waiting at
any time on the following lengths and sides of roads
in Evesham:
Boat Lane (north side) from its junction with Abbot
Chyrytons Place for a distance of 34 metres in an
easterly direction; from its junction with Huxleys Way
(west) for a distance of 53 metres in an easterly
direction. Abbot Chyrytons Place (west side) from its
junction with Boat Lane for a distance of 85 metres in
a northerly direction; (north side) from a point
122 metres north then east of its junction with Boat
Lane for a distance of 4 metres in a southerly then
easterly direction; (east side) from its junction with
Boat Lane for a distance of 17 metres in a northerly
direction; (south side) from a point 81 metres north of
its junction with Boat Lane for a distance of 37 metres
in an easterly direction. Huxleys Way (west) (both
sides) from its junction with Boat Lane for a distance
of 5 metres in a northerly direction. (Huxleys Way
(east) (west side) from its junction with Boat Lane for
a distance of 5 metres in a northerly direction.
The Order will vary the above Consolidation Order
(which provides for civil enforcement of contraventions
of waiting prohibitions and restrictions) and will
contain exemptions to allow parking/access for certain
purposes and limited waiting by disabled persons’
vehicles.
The Order will come into operation on 15 March
2018.
A copy of the Order, relevant map and Statement of
Reasons for making the Order may be inspected at
Wychavon District Council, Evesham Community
Contact Centre, Abbey Road, Evesham, WR11 4SB and
County Hall, Spetchley Road, Worcester, WR5 2NP
during normal office hours.
The validity of the Council’s powers in making the
Order or this exercise of them may be questioned by
application to the High Court within 6 weeks from the
date on which the Order was made.
