Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 Worcestershire County Council
(Link Footpath F50443 Cherwell Close, Worcester)(Temporary Closure)
Order 2018
Order made: to close that part of Link Footpath F50443 Cherwell Close, Worcester
from its junction with U51335 Conway to its junction with U51338 Cherwell Close
in order to facilitate Severn Trent works.
Exemptions: to permit access to any land or premises fronting the highway affected
where there is no other form of access; and to allow the works to be undertaken.
No alternative route available.
Maximum duration: 18 Months. Anticipated duration: 3 days: Commencing:
14 March 2018.
(C2220 Old Road South, Kempsey)(Temporary Closure) Order 2018
Proposed Order: to close that part of C2220 Old Road South, Kempsey from its
junction with Pixham Ferry Lane to its junction with Meadow Close in order to install
a new kerb line and works to realign road.
Exemptions: to permit access to any land or premises fronting the highway affected
where there is no other form of access; and to allow the works to be undertaken.
Alternative route: C2220 Old Road South, C2220 Squires Walk, A38 Main Road,
Pixham Ferry Lane and vice versa.
Maximum duration: 18 Months. Anticipated duration: 5 days Commencing:
8 March 2018.
(City of Worcester) (Civil Enforcement Area) (Waiting Restrictions and Street
Parking Places) Consolidation Order 2011 (Variation) Order 2018 [Prohibition
of Waiting on Drovers Way and Southdown Road, Worcester]
Worcestershire County Council are to consider making an Order the effect of which
will be to prohibit of waiting at any time on the following lengths and sides of
roads in Worcester:
Drovers Way (west side) from its junction with Bilford Road to a point 13.7 metres
north of the school access (including around the school access and to include
replacement of the existing advisory “School Keep Clear” markings)” east side –
from its junction with Southdown Road for a distance of 13.7 metres in a northerly
direction and 10 metres in a southerly direction; and from a point 39.5 metres south
of its junction with Southdown Road to its junction with Bilford Road (to include
replacement of the existing advisory “School Keep Clear” markings).
Southdown Road (both sides) from its junction with Bilford Road for a distance of
10 metres in an easterly direction.
The Order will vary the above Consolidation Order (which provides for civil
enforcement of contraventions of waiting prohibitions and restrictions) and will
contain exemptions to allow parking/access for certain purposes and limited
waiting by disabled persons’ vehicles.
A copy of the draft Order, relevant plan and Statement of Reasons for proposing to
make the Order may be inspected at Worcester City Council, Customer Service
Centre, The Hive, Sawmill Walk, The Butts, Worcester, WR1 3PB, and County Hall,
Spetchley Road, Worcester, WR5 2NP during normal office hours. Any objections/
representations you may have must be sent in writing to me at County Hall or email
roadtrafficregs@worcestershire.gov.uk to be received by 5 April 2018.
(City of Worcester) (Civil Enforcement Area) (Waiting Restrictions and Street
Parking Places) Consolidation Order 2011 (Variation) Order 2018 [Prohibition
of Waiting, Revocation of Restriction of Waiting and Revocation of Limited
Waiting on White Ladies Close, Worcester]
Worcestershire County Council are to consider making an Order the effect of which
will be to regularise the restrictions marked on the ground by removing discrepancies
with the existing Order:-
Replace restriction of waiting Monday - Friday 8.30am - 5.30pm with prohibition
of waiting at any time on the following lengths and sides of road in Worcester:
White Ladies Close (main arm) (southwest side) from a point 10 metres north west
of its junction with White Ladies Close for a distance of 30.7 metres in a north
westerly direction; (northeast side) from a point 12.2 metres southeast of its
junction with White Ladies Walk for a distance of 18.7 metres in a southerly
direction.
Replace limited waiting 45 minutes no return within 2 hours Monday - Saturday
8.00am - 6.30pm with prohibition of waiting at any time:-
White Ladies Close (western arm) (north east side) from its junction with Little
London for a distance of 1.6 metres in a north easterly direction.
The Order will vary the above Consolidation Order (which provides for civil
enforcement of contraventions of waiting prohibitions and restrictions) and will
contain exemptions to allow parking/access for certain purposes and limited
waiting by disabled persons’ vehicles.
A copy of the draft Order, relevant plan and Statement of Reasons for proposing to
