Herefordshire Council Notice of Making
NOTICE is hereby given that Herefordshire Council,
as highway authority, under its relevant powers,
have made the A438 from Hagley Hill to River
Frome, Bartestree, Temporary Closure Order 2018
to temporarily prohibit the use by vehicles on the
following road: A438 from Hagley Hill to River Frome
outside the entrance to the new housing development
North of Lower Bartestree Lane. OS Grid Ref:
356842 / 240873. The alternative route for those
affected by the proposal is via Folly Lane onto the
A465 onto the A4103 onto the A417 onto the A438.
The said closure is required due to resurfacing of
the carriageway following junction works to the new
development and the likelihood of danger to the
public while the works are taking place. The said
closure will come into force on 5th March 2018 and
may re main in force for a maximum period of 18
months, (unless extended with the consent of the
Secretary of State), but the works are expected to be
completed within 3 nights. Any queries in relation to
