THE HERTFORDSHIRE (TEMPORARY CLOSING OF CHURCH LANE, SARRATT) ORDER 2018

NOTICE is given that the Hertfordshire County Council has made the above Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, to prohibit all traffic from using that length of Church Lane, Sarratt from its junction with New Road north eastwards to its junction with Dimmocks Lane (“the Road”), a distance of approximately 1023 metres, except for access. An alternative route will be via New Road, North Hill, A404 (Chenies Road/Rickmansworth Road), Solesbridge Lane, Sarratt Road and Dimmocks Lane. The Order is needed because utility service works are proposed to be executed on or near the Road. The Order has been made and shall come into force on 12 March 2018 for a period of up to 18 months. However, the restrictions specified shall only take effect at the times indicated by signs on or near the Road. A copy of the Order may be inspected free of charge at County Hall, Hertford between the hours of 9.00am and 5.00pm (excluding weekends, bank and public holidays). THE HERTFORDSHIRE (TEMPORARY CLOSING OF VALLEY ROAD, RICKMANSWORTH) ORDER 2018
NOTICE is given that the Hertfordshire County Council has made the above Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, to prohibit all traffic from using that length of Valley Road, Rickmansworth from its junction with A404 Chorleywood Road westwards to its junction with The Drive (“the Road”), a distance of approximately 153 metres. An alternative route will be via A404 Chorleywood Road, The Clump and The Drive. The Order is needed because utility service works are proposed to be executed on or near the Road. The Order has been made and shall come into force on 12 March 2018 for a period of up to 18 months. However, the restrictions specified shall only take effect at the times indicated by signs on or near the Road. THE HERTFORDSHIRE (TEMPORARY CLOSING OF BUCKS AVENUE/SHERWOODS ROAD, WATFORD) ORDER 2018
NOTICE is given that the Hertfordshire County Council has made the above Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, to prohibit all traffic from using that length of Bucks Avenue/Sherwoods Road, Watford from a point 98 metres south east of its junction with Wilcot Avenue south eastwards and south westwards for a distance of approximately 50 metres (“the length of Roads”), except for access. An alternative route will be via Bucks Avenue, A4008 Pinner Road and Sherwoods Road. The Order is needed because water main connection works are proposed to be executed on or near the length of Roads. The Order has been made and shall come into force on 12 March 2018 for a period of up to 18 months. However, the restrictions specified shall only take effect at the times indicated by signs on or near the length of Roads. THE HERTFORDSHIRE (TEMPORARY CLOSING OF HARTHALL LANE, BULLS GREEN) ORDER 2018
NOTICE is given that the Hertfordshire County Council has made the above Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, to prohibit all traffic from using that length of Harthall Lane, Bulls Green from its junction with Primrose Hill north eastwards, north westwards and north eastwards to its junction with Bedmond Road (“the Road”), a distance of approximately 2478 metres, except for access. An alternative route will be via Primrose Hill, Toms Lane, High Street, Church Hill and Bedmond Road. The Order is needed because utility service works are proposed to be executed on or near the Road. The Order has been made and shall come into force on 12 March 2018 for a period of up to 18 months. However, the restrictions specified shall only take effect at the times indicated by signs on or near the Road. THE HERTFORDSHIRE (TEMPORARY CLOSING OF SPRINGWELL LANE, MILL END) ORDER 2018
NOTICE is given that the Hertfordshire County Council has made the above Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, to prohibit all traffic from using that length of Springwell Lane, Mill End from its junction with A412 Uxbridge Road south eastwards for a distance of approximately 94 metres (“the Road”). An alternative route will be via A412 Uxbridge Road, A404 (Riverside Drive/Church Street), Harefield Road, Rickmansworth Road, Hill End Road and Springwell Lane. The Order is needed because works are proposed to be executed on or near the Road. The Order has been made and shall come into force on 15 March 2018 for a period of up to 18 months. However, the restrictions specified shall only take effect at the times indicated by signs on or near the Road. THE HERTFORDSHIRE (TEMPORARY CLOSING OF ST ALBANS ROAD, WATFORD) ORDER 2018
NOTICE is given that the Hertfordshire County Council intends to make an Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, to prohibit all traffic from using that length of St Albans Road, Watford from a point in line with the northern boundary of No.15 Bridle Path north eastwards for its entire length (“the Road”). There is no alternative route available for vehicles when the works are being carried out. However vehicular access to properties in this road will be maintained whenever possible throughout the duration of the works. The Order is needed because the deployment of a crane is required to complete telecoms works. If the Order is made, it shall come into force on 27 March 2018 for a period of up to 18 months. However, the restrictions specified shall only take effect at the times indicated by signs on or near the Road. THE HERTFORDSHIRE (TEMPORARY CLOSING OF KINGS CLOSE, WATFORD) ORDER 2018
NOTICE is given that the Hertfordshire County Council intends to make an Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, to prohibit all traffic from using that length of Kings Close, Watford from its junction with Ladys Close north eastwards for its entire length (“the Road”). There is no alternative route available for vehicles when the works are being carried out. However vehicular access to properties in this road will be maintained whenever possible throughout the duration of the works. The Order is needed because electrical service connection works are proposed to be executed on or near the Road. If the Order is made, it shall come into force on 27 March 2018 for a period of up to 18 months. However, the restrictions specified shall only take effect at the times indicated by signs on or near the Road. THE HERTFORDSHIRE (TEMPORARY CLOSING OF VARIOUS ROADS IN NORTHWOOD AND RICKMANSWORTH) ORDER 2018
NOTICE is given that the Hertfordshire County Council intends to make an Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, to prohibit all traffic from using the following lengths of roads (“the Roads”), except for access:- 1. that length of Batchworth Lane, Northwood from its junction with The Fairway north eastwards to its junction with A4125 Sandy Lane, a distance of approximately 874 metres. An alternative route will be via The Fairway, Westbury Road and A4125 Sandy Lane. 2. that length of Shepherds Lane, Rickmansworth from its junction with Chiltern Drive south eastwards to its junction with Tudor Way, a distance of approximately 466 metres. An alternative route will be via Chiltern Drive, The Queens Drive, Berry Lane and Tudor Way. 3. that length of Nightingale Road, Rickmansworth from its junction with Raven Close south eastwards and north eastwards to its junction with Victoria Close, a distance of approximately 138 metres. An alternative route will be via Nightingale Road, The Drive, The Clump, A404 Chorleywood Road, the A404 Chorleywood Road/A412 Park Road roundabout, A404 Chorleywood Road and Nightingale Road. The Order is needed because highway repair works are proposed to be executed on or near the Roads. If the Order is made, it shall come into force on 26 March 2018 for a period of up to 18 months. However, the restrictions specified shall only take effect at the times indicated by signs on or near the Roads.
