TOWN AND COUNTRY PLANNING ACT 1990
The Secretary of State gives notice of an Order made under Section 247 of the above Act entitled "The Stopping up of Highway (South East) (No. 7) Order 2018" authorising the stopping up of an irregular shaped area of highway to the north of Basin Road N and to the south of the A259 Wellington Road at Portslade, in the Borough of Adur and Worthing to enable development as permitted by Adur and Worthing Councils, reference AWDM/0026/18.
Copies of the Order may be obtained, free of charge, from the Secretary of State, National Transport Casework Team, Tyneside House, Skinnerburn Road, Newcastle Business Park, Newcastle upon Tyne NE4 7AR or nationalcasework@dft.gsi.gov.uk (quoting NATTRAN/SE/S247/3178) and may be inspected during normal opening hours at West Sussex County Council, North Leigh, Tower Street, Chichester PO19 1QT.
Any person aggrieved by or desiring to question the validity of or any provision within the Order, on the grounds that it is not within the powers of the above Act or that any requirement or regulation made has not been complied with, may, within 6 weeks of 23 March 2018 apply to the High Court for the suspension or quashing of the Order or of any provision included.
