Temporary Closure of Netherstoke Lane, Halstock
DORSET COUNTY COUNCIL intend, not less than seven days from the date of this notice to make an Order under Section 14 [1] of the Road Traffic Regulations Act 1984, as amended. All vehicles will be prohibited from proceeding along NETHERSTOKE LANE, HALSTOCK, a distance of approximately 825 metres. The order is needed in order to comply with Health and Safety Regulations, which require the provision of safe working areas and to minimise the likelihood of danger to Highway Users. It will come into operation on 10 April 2018 and will remain in force for 18 months. However it is anticipated that the works will be completed by 18 April 2018.
This orderwill enable Southern Electric, safe access to carry out refurbishment works to overhead cables.

The County of Dorset (Various Roads in the District of West Dorset) (Consolidation of Orders Made for the Regulation of Traffic) Order 2014 (Amendment Order No. 13, 2017) East Street, Bridport and Marsh Barn Road (known locally as), West Bay-Restriction of Waiting and Clearway Order
Dorset County Council has made an Order under Sections 1(1) and (2), 2(1) to (3), 3(2), 4(1) to (3) and I24(l)(d) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 ('the Act of 1984') and the Traffic Management Act 2004 and of The Local Authorities' Traffic Orders (Procedure) (England and Wales) Regulations 1996 and of all other enabling powers and after consultation with the Chief Officer of Police in accordance with statutory requirement and in compliance with the 1996 Regulations. When the Order comes into operation on 30 March 2018 the effect of the Order will be to:
1. Introduce a short length of no loading and unloading restriction between 10.30am and 4.30pm on East Street, Bridport near its junction with South Street.
2. Revoke the existing 'no waiting at any time' restriction on Marsh Barn Road (known locally as), West Bay and introduce a clearway.
A copy of the Order together with a plan showing the lengths of roads affected may
be inspected from Monday to Friday during normal office hours at:-
Main Reception, Dorset County Council, County Hall, Colliton Park, Dorchester,
and Bridport Town Council, Rax Lane, Bridport.

Dorset County Council has made an Order under Sections 1(1) and (2), 2(1) to (3), 3(2), 4(1) to (3) and I24(l)(d) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 ('the Act of 1984') and the Traffic Management Act 2004 and of The Local Authorities' Traffic Orders (Procedure) (England and Wales) Regulations 1996 and of all other enabling powers and after consultation with the Chief Officer of Police in accordance with statutory requirement and in compliance with the 1996 Regulations. When the Order comes into operation on 30 March 2018 the effect of the Order will be to extend the double yellow lines on both sides of The Street near Bridge Road.
