Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984
Notice is hereby given that Wiltshire Council intends to make Orders to close temporarily to all traffic: (a) Hazeldon Lane (Part), Tisbury; from property "Buff Lodge" for a distance of approximately 90m in an easterly direction to enable Wessex Water to undertake work to install a new connection and to disconnect two service pipes. Alternative route via Hazeldon Lane (unaffected length) - C61 Hook Cottages/Pigtrough Lane - C314 Scotts Hill/Hernsham Street/Sands Lane-A30-C25 Ansty Pond/High Street/Yule Hill/Squalls Lane/ Tisbury Row/Jobbers Lane - Hazeldon Lane (unaffected length) and vice versa. This Order will come into operation on 16 April 2018 and it is anticipated that the closure will be required until 30 April 2018. This Order will come into operation on 18 April 2018 and it is anticipated that the closure will be required for one day between the hours of 09.00 and 13.00. Notice is hereby given that Wiltshire Council has made Orders to close temporarily to all traffic: (c) Ansty Lane, Sedgehill and Semley; from its junction with C299 Semley to its junction with Gutch Common to enable BT Openreach to access the overhead structure for cabling work. Alternative route via Gutch Common - Semley Common - C299 Semley and vice versa. This Order will come into operation on 29 March 2018 and it is anticipated that the closure will be required for two days between the hours of 09.30 and 15.30. from its junction with Semley Common for a distance of approximately 450m in a southerly direction to enable BT Openreach to access overhead cabling to undertake works to restore permanent customer service. Alternative route via Harts Hill - North Down Road - Church Hill - Britmore Lane -Gutch Common (unaffected length) and vice versa. This Order will come into operation on 26 March 2018 and it is anticipated that the closure will be required until 28 March 2018. Alternative route via C302 Beacon Hill/Fonthill - High Street, Hindon - B3089 Angel Lane -Sheephouse Lane - A350 - C62 Semley Common and vice versa. This Order will come into operation on 26 March 2018 and it is anticipated that the closure will be required until 3 April 2018. Alternative route via Butterfurlong Road (unaffected length) - Long Drove - Lucewood Lane - Grimstead Road Butterfurlong Road (unaffected length) and vice versa. This closure, which follows an emergency notice, will come into effect on 26 March 2018 and it is anticipated that the closure will be required for three weeks. It is anticipated that the works will take the stated durations to complete depending upon weather conditions. Access will be maintained for residents and businesses where possible, although delays are possible due to the nature of some of the works. The Orders will have a maximum duration of 18 months.
