Herefordshire Council Notice of Making

NOTICE is hereby given that Herefordshire Council, as highway authority, under its relevant powers, have made the U70415 Church Road Howie, Howle Hill, Temporary Closure Order 2018 to temporarily prohibit the use by vehicles on the following road: U70415 Church Road Howle outside Myrtle Cottage OS Grid Ref: 360306 / 220475. The alternative route for those affected by the proposal is via the U70414 Church Road onto the U70416 Sharman Pitch and vice versa.

The said closure is required due to the installation of a new water service connection and the likelihood of danger to the public while the works are taking place. The said closure will come into force on 27th February 2018 and may remain in force for a maximum period of 18 months, (unless extended with the consent of the Secretary of State), but the works are expected to be completed within 3 days.
