Herefordshire Council Notice of Making

NOTICE is hereby given that Herefordshire Council, as highway authority, under its relevant powers, have made the U74417 Wern DDu Road from Golden Grove to Shepherds Hill, Rowlestone, Temporary Closure Order 2018 to temporarily prohibit the use by vehicles on the following road: U74417 Wern DDu Road from Golden Grove to Shepherds Hill outside Pen-Y-Parc OS Grid Ref: 334752 / 229299. The alternative route for those affected by the proposal is via the C1213 Shepherds Hill to Great Walk Mill Farm onto U74417 Prill Road and vice versa.

The said closure is required due to the repair of an existing water service and the likelihood of danger to the public while the works are taking place. The said closure will come into force on 28th February 2018 and may remain in force for a maximum period of 18 months, (unless extended with the consent of the Secretary of State), but the works are expected to be completed within 3 days.
