Herefordshire Council Notice of Making

NOTICE is hereby given that Herefordshire Council, as highway authority, under its relevant powers, have made the C1185 from the B4352 to Brobury Lane, Bredwardine, Temporary Closure Order 2018 to temporarily prohibit the use by vehicles on the following road: C1185 from the B4352 to Brobury Lane at either side of the bridge OS Grid Ref: 333673 / 244722. The alternative route for those affected by the proposal is via the A438 onto the C1098 via Bridge Sollars onto the C1191 onto the B4348 and vice versa.

The said closure is required due to the safe access to repair the Bridge Parapet wall and the likelihood of danger to the public while the works are taking place. The said closure will come into force on 12th March 2018 and may remain in force for a maximum period of 18 months, (unless extended with the consent of the Secretary of State), but the works are expected to be completed within 3 days.
