PUBLIC NOTICE

(District of Wychavon - Non-Urban Areas) (Permitted Parking Area and Special Parking Area) (Waiting Restrictions and Street Parking Places) Consolidation Order 2004 (Variation) Order 2018 [Experimental Prohibition of Waiting on B4632 Station Road, U45436 Evesham Road Service Road, U45616 Pennylands Bank and U45404 Lifford Gardens, Broadway]

On 22 February 2018 Worcestershire County Council made an Experimental Order the effect of which will be to prohibit waiting at any time on the following lengths and sides of roads in Broadway:-B4632 Station Road (both sides) from its junction with A44 Evesham Bypass in a southerly direction to the GWSR bridge. U45436 Evesham Road Service Road (both sides) from its junction with B4632 Station Road for a distance of 10 metres in a westerly direction. U45616 Pennylands Bank (both sides) from its junction with B4632 Station Road for a distance of 10 metres in a westerly direction. U45404 Lifford Gardens (both sides) for the entire length of road not currently subject to a prohibition of waiting order.

The Experimental Order will vary the above Consolidation Order (which provides for civil enforcementofcontraventionsofwaitingprohibitions and restrictions) and will contain exemptions to allow parking/access for certain purposes and limited waiting by disabled persons vehicles. The Experimental Order will come into operation on 15 March 2018 and remain in force for a maximum period of 18 months. A copy of the draft Order, relevant map, Statement of Reasons for proposing to make the Order and any affected existing regulations may be inspected at Evesham Community Contact Centre, Abbey Road, Evesham, Worcs., WR11 4SB and County Hall, Spetchley Road, Worcester, WR5 2NP during normal office hours.

The Experimental Order has been made to allow an assessment of the effect of the Order before a decision is taken to make it permanent. If you wish to object/make representations about the Order being made permanent you must do so in writing to me at County Hall or email roadtrafficregs@worcestershire. gov.uk by 16 September 2018 specifying the grounds onwhichtheyaremadetogetherwithan indicationof whether you would wish to address the prohibition of waiting ifgiven the opportunity.

(C2117 Badgers Hill to Handgate Lane, Sheriffs Lench)(Temporary Closure) Order 2018 Order made: to close that part of C2117 Badgers Hill to Handgate Lane, Sheriffs Lench from its junction with U43606 Evesham Road to its junction with C2022 Fladbury Hill in order to facilitate Severn Trent works. Exemptions: topermitaccesstoanyland or premises frontingthehighwayaffectedwherethereisnoother form of access; and to allow the works to be undertaken.

Alternative route: C2022 Fladbury Hill, A44 Evesham Road, A44 Worcester Road, C2121 Chadbury Road, C2121 Lenchwick Lane, U43606 Hipton Hill, U43606

Evesham Road and vice versa.

Maximum duration: 18 Months. Anticipated duration:

3 days Commencing: 5 March 2018.
