Notice of Temporary Traffic Order Thames Path 320/5 - Footpath Closure Date of Order: 2 January 2018 Coming into force: 8 January 2018 Works commence: 12 March 2018 (date changed from 8.1.18) This Order was introduced for towpath widening works between Donnington Bridge and Folly Bridge (to allow shared cycle/pedestrian use) in two phases which are anticipated to take approximately 10 weeks in total to complete.

The effect of the Order is to close temporarily the Thames Path 320/5 in two phases of approximately 5 weeks' each.

Phase One: From 12 March for approximately 5 weeks From Donnington Bridge to south of the University Collage Boat House (junction of Eastwyke Farm Pathway).

Alternative Route:

Via Eastwyke Farm Pathway (adjacent to the Oxford Spires Hotel),A4l44Abingdon Road,B4495 Weirs Lane (Donnington Bridge) and vice versa

Phase Two: From approximately 16 April for 5 weeks From south of the University Collage Boat House (junction of Eastwyke Farm Pathway) to Abingdon Road (Folly Bridge). Alternative Route:

Via A4I44 Abingdon Road, Eastwyke Farm Pathway, (adjacent to the Oxford Spires Hotel) to University Collage Boat House and vice versa

Exemptions are included for emergency services and for the works and for pedestrian access to premises which are only accessible from the closed section of footpath. Appropriate signs will be displayed to indicate when the measures are in force.

This order will remain in force for a maximum period of 6 months or until the works have been completed whichever is the sooner
