Herefordshire Council Notice of Making
NOTICE is hereby given that Herefordshire Council, as highway authority, under its relevant powers, have made the U74007 Llanithog Road, Kentchurch, Temporary Closure Order 2018 to temporarily prohibit the use by vehicles on the following road: U74007 Llanithog Road from Bannut Tree Farm South for approximately 250 meters OS Grid Ref: 342234 / 226127. The alternative route for those affected by the proposal is via the C1234 onto the B4347 onto the C1239 onto Llanithog Road and vice versa.
The said closure is required due to the installation of a Gabion Basket retaining wall structure to stabalise the existing highway and the likelihood of danger to the public while the works are taking place. The said closure will come into force on 5th March 2018 and may remain in force for a maximum period of 18 months, (unless extended with the consent of the Secretary of State), but the works are expected to be completed within 4 weeks.
