Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (as amended) Worcestershire County Council (Malvern Hills District) (Civil Enforcement Area) (Waiting Restrictions and Street Parking Places) Consolidation Order 2013 (Variation) Order 2018 [Limited Waiting on Teme Street, Tenbury Wells] On 8 February 2018 Worcestershire County Council made an Order the effect of which will be to limit waiting 20 minutes Monday - Saturday 8.00am -6.00pm no return within 1 hour on the following length and side of road in Tenbury Wells:-Teme Street (west side) from a point 50 metres south of its junction with Church Walk for a distance of 22.8 metres in a southerly direction. The Order will vary the above Consolidation Order (which provides for civil enforcement of contraventions of waiting prohibitions and restrictions) and will contain exemptions to allow parking/access for certain purposes and limited waiting by disabled persons' vehicles. The Order will come into operation on 1 March
2018.
A copy of the Order, relevant map and Statement of Reasons for making the Order may be inspected at Tenbury Wells Customer Service Centre, The Library, 24 Teme Street, Tenbury Wells, WR15 8AA, and County Hall, Spetchley Road, Worcester, WR5 2NP during normal office hours.
The validity of the Council's powers in making the Order or this exercise of them may be questioned by application to the High Court within 6 weeks from the date on which the Order was made.
(Footpath TW-584, Tenbury Wells)(Temporary Closure Order) 2018
Proposed Order: to close Footpath TW-584, Tenbury Wells from its junction with A4112 Teme Street to Ordinance Survey grid reference SO 5961 6855 in order to facilitate tree works and to remove, repair and extend railings.
Exemptions: to permit access to any land or premises havingafrontagetothehighwayaffectedwherethere is no other form of access; and to allow the necessary works to be undertaken.
Alternative route: via the remaining section of Footpath TW-584, Footpaths TW-743 and TW-744, Tenbury Wells, B4204 and A4112 Teme Street and vice versa.
The proposed Order will continue in force for a period not exceeding 6 months or until the works which it is proposed to be carried out have been completed, whichever is the earlier. However, it is anticipated that the Order will only be operative for 6 months commencing on 21 March 2018.
