Notice of Temporary Traffic Order
Witney, A4095 Mill Street, Burford Road Prohibition of Through Traffic and Waiting Date of Order: 5 March 2018 Coming into force: 12 March 2018 This Order is being introduced because of carriageway resurfacing works which are anticipated to take 2 weeks to complete. The effect of the Order is to temporarily prohibit any vehicle proceeding or waiting in the lengths of A4095 Mill Street and Burford Road from High Street to Tower Hill. Appropriate traffic signs will be displayed to indicate when the measures are in force. Exemptions are included for emergency services and for the works and for access to premises which are only accessible from the closed section of road. The alternative route for traffic is via High Street, Welch Way, A4095Tower Hill and vice versa. This Orderwill remain in force for a maximum period of 18 months or until the works have been completed whichever is the sooner. (Ref JaC/T5315)

This Order is being introduced because of new gas mains
works which are anticipated to take 3 weeks to complete. The
effect of the order is to temporarily prohibit any vehicle
proceeding in the section of Witney Road from the junction of Curbridge Road southeast to near property No. 38. Appropriate traffic signs will be displayed to indicate when the measures are in force. Exemptions are included for emergency services and for the works and for access to premises which
are only accessible from the closed section of road. The
alternative route for traffic is via Witney Road - A415 - Aston Road - Standlake Road -Witney Road & vice-versa.
This Order will remain in force for a maximum period of 18
months or until the works have been completed whichever is the sooner (Ref T5453/AC)

Long Hanborough, Lower Road Prohibition of Through Traffic and Church Hanborough -7.5t Weight restriction Date of Order: 5 March 2018 Coming into force: 13 March 2018
This Order is being introduced because of rail bridge repair
works which are anticipated to take 3 weeks to complete. The effect of the Order is (1) to temporarily prohibit any vehicle
proceeding through the length of Lower Road at the railway bridge.
Appropriate traffic signs will be displayed to indicate when the measures are in force. Exemptions are included for emergency services and for the works and for access to premises which
are only accessible from the closed section of road. The
alternative route for traffic is via the A4095 to Witney, Jubilee
Way, B4022 Oxford Hill, A40 to Eynsham and vice versa.
(2). Additionally there will be a 7.5 tonne weight restriction for
Church Hanborough in Church Road, from its junction with
Lower Road to its junction with the A4095 Witney Road.
This Order will remain in force for a maximum period of 18
months or until the works have been completed whichever is the sooner (Ref JaC/T5309)
