REVISED LICENCE FEES FOR PRIVATE HIRE AND
HACKNEY CARRIAGE VEHICLES AND OPERATORS
NOTICE is hereby given that the Cotswold District Council,
in exercise of its powers under Sections 53 and 70 of the
Local Government (Miscellaneous Provisions) Act 1976,
has determined that the fees charged for the licensing of
Private Hire and Hackney Carriage Drivers, Vehicles and
Operators should vary as specified below:
PRIVATE HIRE AND TAXI DRIVER FEES
(3 Year Licence)
Hackney Carriage £246 Renewal £180
Private Hire New £246 Renewal  £180
Other Driver Fees:
Knowledge Test £75
Replacement Driver Badge £28
Fee to convert from Private Hire to
Dual Driver (not including knowledge test fee) £53
PRIVATE HIRE AND HACKNEY CARRIAGE VEHICLE

Administration charge for any other requests £25
The above varied charges will come into effect following
the expiration of 28 days from the date of this Notice,
ie on 13th March 2018. If any objections are received
in response to this notice, then on a date not later than
2 months from the expiration of the 28 days period,
the variations shall come into force, with or without
modifications, after consideration of the objection(s). Any
objections to the above varied charges should be sent to
the address below, stating the grounds thereof, within 28
days of the date of this notice. Objections may also be
