Herefordshire Council Notice of Making
NOTICE is hereby given that Herefordshire Council, as highway authority, under its relevant powers, have made the U75407 Long Lane, Peterchurch, Temporary Closure Order 2018 to temporarily prohibit the use by vehicles on the following road: U75407 Long Lane outside Barley Knapp Farm OS Grid Ref: 332927 / 239005. The alternative route for those affected by the proposal is via the B4348 onto the C1209 access road onto Urishay Villa onto Long Lane and vice versa.
The said closure is required due to the installation of a new domestic water connection and the likelihood of danger to the public while the works are taking place. The said closure will come into force on 28th February 2018 and may remain in force for a maximum period of 18 months, (unless extended with the consent of the Secretary of State), but the works are expected to be completed within 3 days.
