Herefordshire Council Notice of Making

NOTICE is hereby given that Herefordshire Council, as highway authority, under its relevant powers, have made the C1126 from Offas Dene to Ridgeway Road, Sutton St Nicholas, Temporary Closure Order 2017 to temporarily prohibit the use by vehicles on the following road: C1126 from Offas Dene to Ridgeway Road outside Ordis Farm OS Grid Ref: 352838 / 245809. The alternative route for those affected by the proposal is via the C1125 onto the A4103 onto the A49 onto

the C1120 onto the C1126 and vice versa.

The said closure is required due to the installation of a new domestic gas service and the likelihood of danger to the public while the works are taking place. The said closure will come into force on 19th February 2018 and may remain in force for a maximum period of 18 months, (unless extended with the consent of the Secretary of State), but the works are expected to be completed within 5 days.
