Herefordshire Council Notice of Making

NOTICE is hereby given that Herefordshire Council, as highway authority, under its relevant powers, have made the C1116 Crowels Ash Road from Green Lane to Lower Roxpole Road, Winslow, Temporary Closure Order 2017 to temporarily prohibit the use by vehicles on the following road: C1116 Crowels Ash Road from Green Lane to Lower Roxpole Road outside Tindings OS Grid Ref: 361929, 253004. The alternative route for those affected by the proposal is via the A44 onto the B4214 Panniers Lane onto the C1110 Pencombe Road and vice versa.

The said closure is required due to the installation of a new water service connection and the likelihood of danger to the public while the works are taking place. The said closure will come into force on 14th February 2018 and may remain in force for a maximum period of 18 months, (unless extended with the consent of the Secretary of State), but the works are expected to be completed within 3 days.
