PROPOSED FREE FOOTWAY PARKING BAYS AND "AT ANY TIME" WAITING RESTRICTIONS -BENSHAM LANE, THORNTON HEATH

Traffic Order 2018 The Croydon (Bensham Lane) (Free Footway Parking Places) (No.1) Traffic Order, 2018
1. NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Croydon Council on 19 February 2018 made the above Traffic Orders under Sections 6 and 124 of and Part IV of Schedule 9 to the Road Traffic Regulation Act, 1984, as amended and all other enabling powers.
2. The general effect of the Orders will be to introduce free partial footway parking bays in Bensham Lane (between Frant Road and Ecclesbourne Road) in conjunction with yellow line waiting restrictions operating "at any time". Existing disabled bays will remain unaffected.
3. Copies of the Orders, which will come into operation on the
26 February 2018, can be inspected between 9am and 4pm on Mondays to Fridays inclusive until the end of six weeks from the date on which the Orders were made, at the "Access Croydon" Facility, Bernard Weatherill House, 8 Mint Walk Croydon, CRO 1 EA.
4. Copies of the Orders may be obtained from Parking Design, 6th Floor, Zone C, Bernard Weatherill House, 8 Mint Walk Croydon, CRO 1 EA.
5. Any person desiring to question the validity of the Orders or of any provision contained therein on the grounds that it is not within the relevant powers of the Road Traffic Regulation Act, 1984 or that any of the relevant requirements thereof or of any relevant regulations made there under have not been complied with in relation to the Orders may, within six weeks of the date on which the Orders were made, make application for the purpose to the High Court.

ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT, 1984, SECTION 14 AS AMENDED THE ROAD TRAFFIC (TEMPORARY RESTRICTIONS) ACT 1991
AND ALL OTHER ENABLING POWERS
FEATHERBED LANE SLIP ROAD / COURT WOOD LANE JUNCTION TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC
1. Croydon Council, HEREBY GIVE NOTICE that to facilitate a water mains clamp in the carriageway, they have made an Order, the effect of which will be to temporarily prohibit traffic movements in Featherbed Lane slip road at its junction with Court Wood Lane.
2. Whilst the said works are taking place the Featherbed Lane slip road (fronting property Nos. 2 to 38 Featherbed Lane) will be closed at its junction with Court Wood Lane.
3. The Order will come into operation on 26 February 2018 and it is anticipated that the works will be completed within three days, however the Order will remain in force for 18 months to be reintroduced should further works be required.
4. The restrictions specified in paragraph 2 above shall apply only during such times and to such extent as shall from time to time be indicated by traffic signs prescribed by the Traffic Signs Regulations and General Directions 2016.

AND ALL OTHER ENABLING POWERS MARLPIT LANE, COULSDON TEMPORARY RESTRICTION OF VEHICULAR TRAFFIC
1. Croydon Council HEREBY GIVE NOTICE that to facilitate a detailed examination of the rail bridge in Marlpit Lane, they have made an Order the effect of which would be to temporarily restrict vehicular traffic movements in Marlpit Lane, Coulsdon.
2. Whilst the said works are taking place, no person shall cause any vehicle to proceed in Marlpit Lane from its junction with Brighton Road A237 to 10 metres south-east of the rail bridge.
3. Whilst the closure remains in force the alternative route for vehicles over 14'6" will be via Brighton Road A237, Brighton Road A23, London Road A23, London Road North, Shepherd's Hill B2031, Alderstead Lane B2031, Dean Lane B2031, Rook Lane B2031 and Chaldon Road B2031.
Vehicles under 14'6" will be via Brighton Road A237, Brighton Road, Brighton Road A23, Stoats Nest Road B2030 and Coulsdon Road as appropriately signed.
4. The Order will come into operation on 05 March 2018 and it is anticipated that the works will be carried out in 2 days. However, the Order will remain in force for 18 months to be reintroduced should further works be required.

AND ALL OTHER ENABLING POWERS CROHAM PARK AVENUE, SOUTH CROYDON TEMPORARY RESTRICTION OF VEHICULAR TRAFFIC
1. Croydon Council HEREBY GIVE NOTICE that to facilitate Thames Water works, they intend to make an Order the effect of which would be to temporarily restrict vehicular traffic movements in Croham Park Avenue, South Croydon.
2. Whilst the said works are taking place, no person shall cause any vehicle to proceed in Croham Park Avenue between its junctions with Binfield Road and Croham Road.
3. Whilst the closure remains in force the alternative route for diverted traffic will be via local streets as appropriately signed.
4. The Order will come into operation on 27 March 2018 and it is anticipated that the works will be carried out in 3 days. However, the Order will remain in force for 18 months to be reintroduced should further works be required.

Selhurst Park Stadium (Whitehorse Lane), And Sainsbury's Car Park (120-122 Whitehorse Lane), No's 22, 24, 26, 28, 30 & 32 Wooderson Close, South Norwood, London, SE25 6PU Crystal Palace Football Club Ltd, c/o Agent Extension of Main Stand to provide seating for an additional 8,225 spectators and an additional 24,522sqm of floor space internally (beneath the expanded Main Stand) to be used for the operation of the football club and ancillary functions (Use class D2), and a 550sqm GIA restaurant/retail unit (Use class A1/A3). Demolition of 22-32 Wooderson Close, and associated refurbishment works to end elevation of 20 Wooderson Close, reorganisation of the associated parking facilities and gardens. Reorganisation of the club and supermarket car parks, and site accesses from Holmesdale Road and within the car parking area from Whitehorse Lane, with associated hard and soft landscaping. Use of the club car park as a fan plaza on match-days. Pitch lengthening (from 101m to 105m), and the creation of accessible seating within the Whitehorse Lane Stand (spectator capacity reduced by 690). Creation of replacement spectator capacity (683 additional), and relocation of the fan zone, to the corner of the Holmesdale Road and Arthur Wait stands. Reorganisation of floodlighting, including the removal of two of the flood light masts. Removal of the TV Gantry at the Arthur Wait Stand.
