Herefordshire Council Notice of Intention

NOTICE is hereby given that Herefordshire Council, as highway authority, intend, under its relevant powers, to make the C1110 from C1116 Junction to Pencombe Road, Winslow Temporary Closure Order 2017 to temporarily prohibit the use by vehicles between the entrance to The Fairways and the U65207 Batch Lane OS Grid Ref: 362905 / 253043. The alternative route for those affected by the proposal is via the B4214 Panniers Lane onto the A465 onto the C1116 Crowels Ash Road and vice versa.

The said closure is required due to the repair of a burst water main and the likelihood of danger to the public while the works are taking place. The said closure will come into force on 27th February 2018 and may remain in force for a maximum period of 18 months, (unless extended with the consent of the Secretary of State), but the works are expected to be completed within 3 days.
