THE BOROUGH OF BLACKBURN WITH BARWEN [REAR EPWORTH STREET, DARWEN] [TEMPORARY CLOSURE) ORDER 2018
NOTICE Is hereby given that the Blackburn with Darwen Borough Council, propose to make the above Order under Section 14(1)(a) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 to enable works to be carried out to replace a stop tap.
The effect of the Order is to close rear Epworth Street, Darwen, to all vehicular traffic from its junction with Westcote Street for a distance of 43 metres in a north­easterly direction.
There will not be a diversion route as the closure affects a rear alley.
The Order will come into force on Monday, 5th March 2018, and shall continue in force for a period of eighteen months or until the works are completed whichever is the earlier. However, it is anticipated that the works will be completed by Wednesday, 7th March 2018.

This will be a full closure, there will not be access for pedestrians or emergency vehicles.
