LOCAL GOVERNMENT (MISCELLANEOUS PROVISIONS) ACT 1976
HACKNEY CARRIAGE AND PRIVATE HIRE VEHICLE/OPERATOR LICENCE FEES
Brighton & Hove City Council has resolved under Section 70 of the above Act to amend the Licence Fees relating to Hackney Carriage and Private Hire Vehicles and Operators' Licences.
Sub-Sections (3) (a) and (b) of Section 70 of the above Act require the Council to publish details of variation in these fees and to deposit a copy of this Notice at the offices of the Council for inspection without payment. Any person objecting to these proposals should notify their objections in writing, to the Head of Regulatory Services, no later than 25th March 2018.
If no objection to this variation is duly made within the period specified above, or if all objections so made are withdrawn, the new fees will come into effect on 1st April 2018 or the date of withdrawal of the last objection, whichever is
the later. If objection is duly made as aforesaid and not withdrawn, the Council shall set a further date on which the new fees shall come into force with or
without modification, as decided by Brighton & Hove City Council after
consideration of the objection.
