LONDON BOROUGH OF SUTTON
ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 - SECTION 14(1) SHORTS ROAD, CARSHALTON
1. The Council of the London Borough of Sutton with the agreement of Transport for London hereby gives notice that in order to allow a detailed bridge examination and because of the likelihood of danger to the public it made an Order the effect of which is summarised in paragraph 3 below.

2. The Order will come into effect on Tuesday 20 February 2018 with works expected to take 1 night to completed and will take place between 10.00pm and 5.00am. However, the Order will remain in force for three months to be re-introduced should further works be required.

3. Whilst the works are taking place and the appropriate traffic signs are displayed the Order will temporarily close Shorts Road between its junction with Colston Avenue and Alma Road.

4. An alternative route for vehicular traffic will be via Westmead Road, Highfield Road, (A232) Carshalton Road, Alma Road and vice versa.

5. The prohibitions specified above apply only during such times and to such extent as indicated by traffic signs prescribed by the Traffic Signs Regulations and General Directions 2016.

ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 - SECTION 14(1) DEMESNE ROAD, WALLINGTON AND FOREST ROAD, MORDEN
1. The Council of the London Borough of Sutton with the agreement of Transport for London and The London Borough of Merton hereby gives notice that in order to carry out detailed bridge examinations and because of the likelihood of danger to the public it made an Order the effect of which is summarised in paragraph 3 below.

2. The Order will come into effect on Wednesday 21 February 2018, and will remain in force for 6 months to be re-introduced should further works be required.

3. When the works are taking place and the appropriate traffic signs are displayed the Order will temporarily:

? close :-
o on 27 March 2018, Demesne Road, Wallington between its junctions with Bute Gardens, Tharp Road and Russell Court; and
o on 21 February 2018, Forest Road, Morden between its junctions with Glastonbury Road and Morden Way.
works are expected to be complete within 1 night taking place between 10.00pm and 5.00am with only one road closure in place at a time.
4. An alternative route for vehicular traffic whilst the road closures are in force will be for:-

? Demesne Road; via Queenswood Avenue, Plough Lane, Stafford Road and vice versa.

? Forest Road;

o northbound; via Sutton Common Road, (A24) Epsom Road, Green Lane and Glastonbury Road; and
o southbound; via Sutton Common Road, (A217) Reigate Avenue and Glastonbury Road.
5. The prohibitions specified above apply only during such times and to such extent as indicated by traffic signs prescribed by the Traffic Signs Regulations and General Directions 2016.

RELATING TO GRANGE VALE, SUTTON
1. NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Council of the London Borough of Sutton made the Order detailed below on 12 February 2018 under sections 6 and 124 of, and Parts III and IV of Schedule 9 to the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended.

2. The general effect of The Sutton (Traffic Restriction) (Width Restriction) (Grange Vale) (No. 1) Order 2018 will be to introduce a width restriction of 2 metres (6 feet 6 inches) to prevent all but cars, two wheelers and light good vehicles from using Grange Vale, Sutton in advance of the railway bridge.

3. A copy of the Order, which will come into operation on 16 February 2018 containing the Council's Statement of Reasons for making the Order, and a plan showing the location and effect of the Order may be inspected

at the Council's Environment, Housing and Regeneration Offices at 24 Denmark Road, Carshalton between 9am - 5pm Monday to Friday.
4. If any person wishes to question the validity of this Order or of any of its provisions on the grounds that they are not within the powers conferred by the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, or that any requirement of the said Act of 1984 or of any instrument made under the said Act of 1984 has not been complied with, that person may, within 6 weeks from the date on which the Order was made, apply for the purpose to the High Court.

CORRIGENDUM TO PUBLIC NOTICE PUBLISHED ON 8th FEBRUARY 2018 REF:SuttMap1051
1. On 8th February 2018 a public notice of proposals was published under sections 6, 45, 46, 49 and 124 of, and Part IV of Schedule 9 to the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended. The public notice contained
references to Damson Way and Metcalfe Avenue which were incorrectly stated as
(a) to provide restrictions in: Damson Way, Metcalfe Avenue and Money Puzzle Way as follows:

(i) double yellow line 'at any time' waiting restrictions and 'at any time' loading restrictions:

(A) on the south side of Damson Way: (1) for 10 metres either side of Metcalfe Avenue; and (2) for 27 metres west and 10 metres east of Monkey Puzzle Way;

(B) in Metcalfe Avenue: (1) on the west side, for 37 metres south of Damson Way; and (2) on the east side, for 64 metres south of Damson Way; and

(C) on both sides of Monkey Puzzle Way, for 10 metres south of Damson Way; and

(ii) waiting restrictions operating between 8am and 9am and between 2pm and 3pm on Mondays to Fridays inclusive on the south side of Damson Way, between 10 and 26 metres west of Metcalfe Avenue.

Those paragraphs should read as follows:
(b) to provide restrictions in: Damson Way and Money Puzzle Way as

follows:
(i) double yellow line 'at any time' waiting restrictions and 'at any time' loading restrictions:

(A) on the south side of Damson Way:

(1) for 10 metres either side of east and west side of that part of Damson Way in the vicinity of property Nos 8-12;

(2) for 27 metres west and 10 metres east of Monkey Puzzle Way;

(B) in that part of Damson Way in the vicinity of property Nos. 8-12 Damson Way:

(1) on the west side, for 37 metres south of the south side of Damson Way;
12) on the east side for 64 metres south of the south side of Damson Way;
(C) on both sides of Monkey Puzzle Way, for 10 metres south of Damson Way; and

(ii) waiting restrictions operating between 8am and 9am and between 2pm and 3pm on Mondays to Fridays inclusive on the south side of Damson Way, between 10 and 26 metres west of that part of Damson Way in the vicinity of property Nos. 8-12 Damson Way.

2. This correction does not affect the proposed Orders or plans and copies of these can be inspected at the Council's Environment, Housing and Regeneration Offices at 24 Denmark Road, Carshalton between 9am - 5pm Monday to Friday.
