THE BARNET (CHARGED-FOR PARKING PLACES) (AMENDMENT NO.37)

ORDER 2018

NOTICE IS HEREBYGIVEN that the Council of the London Borough of Barnet have made on 15th February 2018 the above-mentioned Orders under Sections 6, 45, 46, 49,51 to the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 and all other enabling powers.

In order to prevent obstructive parking, improve traffic flow and improve pedestrian and motorist visibility, the general effect of the Free Order will be to:

?Extendthe existing 7am to 7pm Monday to Saturday waiting restrictions on Station Approach EN4 opposite Bejun Court and No.1 to 18 Russel Court north-westwards by 10 metres. ?Convert the existing 7am to 7pm Monday to Saturday waiting restriction outside Nos. 65 to 67 Station Approach EN4 to 'At any time' waiting restrictions. In order to provide asafe place for motorists to drop off their children in the morning in the vincinty of Holy Trinity Church Of England Nursery School the Free Order will also convert approximately 28 metres of the existing "Atany time"outside No. 56 to 66 Market Place N2 to waiting restrictions operating between the hours of 8am to 9.30am Monday to Friday. In order to provide additional resident parking provision on street at Market Place the Charged-For Order will introduce a2pm to 3pm Monday to Friday resident permit holders only parking bay outside No.56 to 66 Market Place N2.

In order to provide additional resident parking provision in the St Georges Road, NW11 area the Orders will convert approximately 5metres of the existing 8am to 6.30pm Monday to Saturday waiting restrictions on St Georges Road situated at the side of No.1 Temple Garden and at the side of No.36 Templars Avenue NW11.

Acopy of the Orders, which will come into operation on Monday 26th February 2018 and the Council's Statement of Reasons for making the Orders can be inspected between 9am and 5pm on Mondays to Fridays (Bank Holidays and Public Holidays Excepted) for aperiod of 6weeks from the date on which this notice is published at:

Any person wishing to question the validity of the Orders or any of their provisions on the grounds that they are not within the relevant powers of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 or that any of the relevant requirements thereof or of any regulations made there under have not been complied with in relation to the Orders may,withinsix weeks of the date on which the Orders were made, make application for the purpose to the High Court.
