Holders Only Notice of Making
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Wigan Borough Council, in exercise of its powers under Section 9 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, has made the Wigan Borough Council (Tyldesley Well Street Car Park, Alexander Street, Tyldesley) (Residents Car Park Permits Only) (Experimental) Order 2018 which will come into operation on Monday 5th March 2018 for a period of six months. No person shall except upon the direction or with the permission of a police constable in uniform or of a Police Community Support Officer cause or permit a vehicle to on Tyldesley Well Street Car Park, Alexander Street without a residents car park permit at any time.
NOTICE IS HEREBY FURTHER GIVEN Wigan Borough Council will be considering
in due course whether the provisions of the Order should be continued in force
indefinitely. Any person may within the period of six months from the coming into
force of this Order object to the making of the Order for the purposes of such
indefinite continuation. Any such objections to the Order must be made in writing
and specify the grounds thereof and must be made to the
Assistant Director - Legal, Town Hall, Library Street, Wigan quoting reference
RD/LS/JOH/CL48.401 not later than 5th September 2018.
A copy of the Order, and of the relevant map, and a Statement of Reasons for making
the Order, may be inspected at Leigh Town Hall, Market Street, Leigh, between 9am
and 4:30pm on any day from Monday to Friday.
New Bank Street, Tyldesley Temporary Prohibition of Waiting Notice of Making
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Assistant Director Infrastructure Places Directorate of Wigan Borough Council in exercise of the powers conferred by Section 14 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 and delegated to him by the said Council proposes to make the Wigan Borough Council (Temporary Prohibition of Waiting) (New Bank Street, Tyldesley) Order 2018.
The effect of the Order will be to prohibit no waiting at any time on New Bank Street, Tyldesley west direction from its junction with Manchester Road to its junction with Alexander Street during the period of Monday 5th March - Sunday 8th July 2018 inclusive.
Limited exemptions of; Liveried and Construction vehicles
