(C2026 Shelsley Walsh)(Temporary Closure) Order 2018
Order made: to close that part of C2026 Shelsley Walsh, from its junction with
B4203 Stanford Bridge to its junction with C2228 Shelsley Beauchamp in order to
facilitate Severn Trent works.
Exemptions: to permit access to any land or premises fronting the highway affected where there is no other form of access; and to allow the works to be undertaken. Alternative route: B4203 Stanford Bridge, C2228 Pard House Lane, C2228 Shelsley Beauchamp and vice versa.
Maximum duration: 18 Months. Anticipated duration: 3 days Commencing: 12 February 2018.
(A4538 Pershore Lane South, Warndon)(Temporary Closure) Order 2018 Order made: to close that part of A4538 Pershore Lane South, Warndon from its junction the M5 junction 6 Roundabout to its junction with B4636 Nunnery Way and A4538 Pershore Lane in order to facilitate ground maintenance works by Kier Highways.
Exemptions: to permitaccess to anyland or premises frontingthe highwayaffected where there is no other form ofaccess; and to allow the works to be undertaken. Alternative routes: via A4440 and B4636, M5 junction 6, and Pershore Lane - A4440 Warndon Lane, A4440 Parsonage Way, A4440 Trotshill Way, A4440 Grange Way, A4440 Nunnery Way, B4636 Nunnery way to A4538 Pershore Lane, A4538 Pershore Lane: Crowle Roundabout.
Maximum duration: 18 Months. Anticipated duration: 10 nights (20:00pm to 06:00am). Commencing: 12 February 2018.
(U50100 Sansome Place, Worcester)(Temporary Closure) Order 2018
Order made: to close that part of U50100 Sansome Place, Worcester from its
junction with U50101 Lion Court to its junction with Footpath F50492 Black Horse
Walk in order to facilitate gas replacementworks byBalfour Beatty.
Exemptions: to permitaccess to anyland or premises frontingthe highwayaffected
where there is no other form ofaccess; and to allow the works to be undertaken.
Alternative route: U50101 Lion Court and vice versa.
Maximum duration: 18 Months. Anticipated duration: 16 days Commencing:
12 February2018.
(Footpath NC-550, North Claines)(Temporary Closure) Order 2017
NOTICE is hereby given that the Order made by Worcestershire County Council on 23 August 2017 the effect of which is to close that part of Footpath NC-550, North Claines from its junction with Rossendale Close to its junction with C2138 Dilmore, which was due to expire on 9 February 2018 has been continued in force with the approval of the Secretary of State for the Department Transport until the works to which itrelates have been completed or until 9 August2019 whichever is sooner. Any further extension will require the approval of the Secretary of State. TheOrder has been made to facilitate new housingdevelopmentworks.
Alternative route: is via Footpath NC-550 (part), U41008 Station Road, U41018 Shrawley Road, U41022 Dilmore Avenue, footpath NC-551, North Claines, and C2138 Dilmore Lane, and vice versa.
(C2010 Gooms Hill, Abbots Morton)(Temporary Closure) Order 2018 Proposed Order: to close that partof C2010 Gooms Hill, Abbots Morton from its junction with C2011 Evesham Roadtoitsjunction with U43600AbbotsMorton Road in order to facilitate carriageway works by WCC.
Exemptions: to permitaccess to anyland or premises frontingthe highwayaffected where there is no other form ofaccess; and to allow the works to be undertaken. Alternative route: C2011 Evesham Road, A422 Worcester Road, A422 High Street, A422 Alcester Road, A422 Worcester Road, B4088 Evesham Road (Warwickshire County), C2010 Alcester Road and vice versa.
Maximum duration: 18 Months. Anticipated duration: 3 days (within a 3 week period). Commencing: 6 March 2018.
(C2071 Abberley)(Temporary Closure) Order 2018
Proposed Order: to close that part of C2071 Abberley from its junction with U64409 Reynolds Lane to its junction with C2276 The Village in order to facilitate BT Openreach works.
Exemptions: to permitaccess to anyland or premises frontingthe highwayaffected where there is no other form ofaccess; and to allow the works to be undertaken. Alternative route: U64409 Reynolds Lane, C2276 Abberley, C2276 The Village and vice versa.
Maximum duration: 18 Months. Anticipated duration: 2 days Commencing: 5 March 2018.
(Edgar Street, King Street, and Severn Street, Worcester) (One-Way Traffic)
Order 2018
Worcestershire CountyCouncil areto consider makingan Order the effectofwhich will be to consolidate the existing one way traffic Order on the following roads in Worcester:-
Edgar Street for its entire length. Traffic may only proceed east to west.
King Street for its entire length. Traffic may only proceed west to east.
Severn Street from its junction with Edgar Street to its junction with King Street.
Traffic may only proceed north to south.
The Order will notapplyto road cleansing vehicles.
A copy of the draft Orders, relevant map and Statement of Reasons for making the Orders and any affected existing Orders may be inspected at Worcester City Council, Customer Service Centre, The Hive, Sawmill Walk, The Butts, Worcester, WR1 3PB, and County Hall, Spetchley Road, Worcester, WR5 2NP during normal office hours.
