Temporary Closure of B3390 at Moreton Level Crossing

DORSET COUNTY COUNCIL has made an Order under Section 14 [1] of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended. All vehicles will be prohibited from proceeding along the B3390 at Moreton Level Crossing, for a distance of approximately 30 metres either side of the crossing. The order is needed in order to comply with Health and Safety Regulations, which require the provision of safe working areas and to minimise the likelihood of danger to Highway Users. It will come into operation on Saturday 17 February 2018 and will remain in force for 18 months. However the works and closures are programmed as follows:

? 23.30hrs, Saturday 17th - 08.30hrs, Sunday 18th February 2018;



? 23.30hrs, Monday 19th - 06.30hrs, Tuesday 20th February 2018;



? 23.30hrs, Tuesday 20th - 06.30hrs, Wednesday 21th February 2018;



? 23.30hrs, Wednesday 21th- 06.30hrs, Thursday 22th February 2018;



? 23.00hrs, Thursday 22th - 07.00hrs, Friday 23th February 2018.



This order will enable Network Rail engineers to carry out a programme of overnight maintenance works.

A diversion route will be signed via the B3390, the A352, the A35 and the B3390. Temporary Traffic Management Order, West Walks Road, Dorchester

DORSET COUNTY COUNCIL has made a Temporary Traffic Management Order under Section 14 [1] of the Road Traffic Regulations Act 1984, as amended. The Order is needed in order to comply with Health and Safety Regulations, which require the provision of safe working areas and to minimise the likelihood of danger to Highway Users. The order will come into effect on 5 March 2018 until 11 May 2018. But it will remain in force for 18 months and can be extended, with the approval of the Secretary of State for Transport, if necessary.

This order will enable Dorchester Town Council to construct new tennis courts on the old bowling green in the Borough Gardens.

The effect of the order is as follows;

[1] To impose a temporary parking suspension for all bays on West Walks Road. [2] To impose a temporary road closure on West Walks Road adjacent to the
