ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 SECTION 14 CITY OF BRADFORD METROPOLITAN DISTRICT COUNCIL
DENHOLME ROAD OXENHOPE KEIGHLEY TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC (NO 796) ORDER
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that City of Bradford Metropolitan District Council by reason to enable gas works proposed to be executed on or near Denholme Road, Oxenhope intends not less than seven days from the date of this Notice to make an Order the effect of which will be that no person shall proceed in the length of Denholme Road, Oxenhope from a point outside No 59B Denholme Road for approximately 5 metres in a westerly direction. PROVIDED THAT such prohibition shall not extend to emergency vehicles and vehicles being used in connection with the works proposed to be carried out on the said length of road. Pedestrian access will be maintained at all times.
Alternative routes for vehicular traffic affected by the proposed Order will be available via Denholme Road (unaffected section), Station Road, Keighley Road, Hebden Road, Brow Top Road, Haworth Road, Halifax Road, Keighley Road, Main Road, New Road, Long Causeway and vice versa. The proposed Order will come into effect on 24th March 2018 and remain in force until 25th March 2018 (although the closure can remain in force for up to eighteen months if necessary).
