NEW FOREST DISTRICT COUNCIL TEMPORARY ROAD CLOSURE B3078 HIGH STREET FORDINGBRIDGE
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that New Forest District Council, acting as agent to the traffic authority, Hampshire County Council, proposes to make an Order to allow B.T. works to be carried out, as follows:
ROAD TO BE CLOSED: That length of B3078 High Street Fordingbridge between its junction with Bridge Street and its junction with Shaftesbury Street. ALTERNATIVE ROUTE
From the western point of closure west along B3078 via Alderholt and Cranborne to its junction with B3081 nr Edmondsham;southeast along B3081 via Verwood to its junction with A31 at Ringwood; northeast via A31 to its junction with A338;north along A338 Salisbury Road via Blashford and Ibsley to its junction with slip road to Fordingbridge; north and northwest via slip road to its junction with Bridge Street and Bridge Street to its junction with High Street; southwest via High Street to the eastern point of closure, and vice versa (except via Southampton Road and onslip to A338 for southbound traffic)
PERIOD OF CLOSURE: From 25th February 2018 for a period of 3 months or until completion of works whichever is sooner. Notwithstanding the above it is expected that the closure will be required for no longer than 3 Sundays, between 0800hrs and 1800hrs only on each Sunday, as follows:
Sunday 25th February, Sunday 4th March and Sunday 11th March 2018 Reasonable facilities will be provided to allow access to adjacent premises while the work is being carried out.
