Notice of Temporary Traffic Order
Woodstock, Chaucers Lane/Park Street/Harrisons Lane Prohibition of Through Traffic Date of Order: 5 February 2018 Coming into force: 12 February 2018 This Order is being introduced because of mains power installation work which is anticipated to take 5 weeks to complete. The effect of the Order is to temporarily prohibit any vehicle proceeding in the whole length of Harrisons Lane and Chaucers Lane, and Park Street at its junction with Chaucers Lane. Appropriate traffic signs will be displayed to indicate when the measures are in force. The Oxfordshire County Council (Harrisons Lane, Woodstock) (One Way Traffic) Order 1984 shall be temporarily suspended for the duration of the works. This Order will remain in force for a maximum period of 18 months or until the works have been completed whichever is the sooner. (Ref T5342/AC)
SECTION 14(1) Notice of Temporary Traffic Order
Long Hanborough, Lower Road Prohibition of Through Traffic Date of Order: 19 February 2018 Coming into force: 26 February 2018 This Order is being introduced because of carriageway repairs which are anticipated to take 3 weeks to complete. The effect of the Order is to temporarily prohibit any vehicle proceeding in the whole length of Lower Road. Appropriate traffic signs will be displayed to indicate when the measures are in force. Exemptions are included for emergency services and for the works and for access to premises which are only accessible from the closed section of road.
The alternative route for traffic is via the A4095 Main Road, Wroslyn Road, Cuckoo Lane, A40 and vice versa. This Order will remain in force for a maximum period of 18 months or until the works have been completed whichever is the sooner. (Ref JaC/T5329)
