Notice of Temporary Traffic Order Wallingford, St. Johns Road and St. Leonards Lane Prohibition ofVehicles Date of Order: 15 January 2018 Coming into force: 12 February 2018 This Order is being introduced because of gas main replacement works which are anticipated to take place in two phases. The effect of the order is to temporarily prohibit any vehicle proceeding or waiting in St. Johns Road from 12 February to 23 March and St. Leonards Lane from 9 April to 27 April 2018. Appropriate traffic signs will be displayed to indicate when the measures are in force.

Exemptions are included for emergency services and for the works and for access to premises which are only accessible from the closed sections of road. The alternative route for traffic affected by the closure on St.Johns Road is for eastbound traffic via Croft Road, High Street and St. Marys Street. For westbound traffic via St. Martins Street, High Street and Croft Road. This Order will remain in force for a maximum period of 18 months or until the works have been completed whichever is the sooner
