ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 - SECTION 14 CITY OF BRADFORD METROPOLITAN DISTRICT COUNCIL
SPRING LANE, BINGLEY TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC (NO 791) ORDER
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that City of Bradford Metropolitan District Council by reason to enable works to underground apparatus proposed to be executed on behalf of BT Openreach on or near Spring Lane, Bingley intends not less than seven days from the date of this Notice to make an Order the effect ofwhich will be that no person shall proceed in the length of Spring Lane from its junction with Otley Road for a distance of approximately 200 metres in a south easterly direction.
PROVIDED THAT such prohibition shall not extend to vehicles being used in connection with the works proposed to be carried out on the said length of road. Pedestrian access will be maintained at all times.
Alternative routes for vehicular traffic affected by the proposed Order will be available via Spring Lane (unaffected section), Glovershaw Lane, Bingley Road, Hawksworth Road, Potter Brow Lane, Mill Lane, Goose Lane, Bingley Road, Otley Road and vice versa.
The proposed Order will come into effect at 09:30 hours on 19th March 2018 and remain in force until 15:30 hours on 19th March 2018 (although the closure can remain in force for up to eighteen months if necessary). DATED this 8th day of March 2018.
