ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 - SECTION 14 CITY OF BRADFORD METROPOLITAN DISTRICT COUNCIL
TOWN END ROAD, CLAYTON TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC (NO 793) ORDER
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that City of Bradford Metropolitan District Council by reason to enable works proposed to be executed on behalf of BT Openreach on or near Town End Road, Clayton intends not less than seven days from the date of this Notice to make an Order the effect of which will be that no person shall proceed in the length of Town End Road from its junction with The Avenue to a point opposite No. 10 Town End Road. PROVIDED THAT such prohibition shall not extend to emergency vehicles or to vehicles being used in connection with the works proposed to be carried out on the said length of road. Pedestrian access will be maintained at all times.
Alternative routes for vehicular traffic affected by the proposed Order will be available via Town End Road (unaffected section), Low Lane, Cockin Lane, Carter Lane, Thornton Road, Albert Road, Sand Beds, Scarlet Heights, Baldwin Lane, The Avenue and vice versa.
The proposed Order will come into effect at 09:30 hours on 21st March 2018 and remain in force until 15:30 hours on 21st March 2018 (although the closure can remain in force for up to eighteen months if necessary). DATED this 8th day of March 2018.
