the a168 trunk road (dishforth) (temporary PROHIBITION of traffic) notice is Hereby given that Highways England Company Limited has made an Order on the A168 Trunk Road, in the District of Harrogate, to enable sign replacement works to be carried out in safety.
Highways England Company Limited has made an Order on the A168 Trunk Road, in the District of Harrogate, to enable sign replacement works to be carried out in safety.
The works are expected to start on Thursday 1 March 2018 for 1 night, or until completed, and will take place between 8pm and 6am. The effect of the Order will be to close the A168 southbound exit slip road at Dishforth. During the closures a suitably signed alternative route will be available at all times. Traffic signs will indicate the extent of the prohibition (which will not apply to emergency service vehicles or vehicles being used in connection with the said works or for winter maintenance or traffic officer purposes). The Order comes into force on 28 February 2018 and has a maximum duration of eighteen months.
