ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984
THE A41 GLA ROAD (HENDON WAY, FINCHLEY ROAD) (LONDON BOROUGH OF BARNET) (TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC AND STOPPING) ORDER 2018
1. Transport for London having consulted the London Boroughs of Barnet and Camden hereby gives notice that it has made the above named Traffic Order under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 for the purpose specified in paragraph 2. The effect of the Order is summarised in paragraph 3.

2. The purpose of the Order is to enable carriageway patching works to take place on the A41 Hendon Way, northbound and southbound between its junctions with The Vale and Finchley Road.

3. The effect of the Order will be to prohibit any vehicle from:

(1) entering or exiting the A41 Hendon Way between its junctions with Garth Road and Finchley Road

(2) entering, exiting or proceeding on the northbound slip road connecting A41 Finchley Road with A41 Hendon Way.

(3) proceeding directly from A41 Finchley Road to A598 Finchley Road

(4) entering, exiting or proceeding the northwest bound carriageway of A41 Hendon Way between Finchley Road and Cricklewood Lane.

(5) turning left from A41 Hendon Way at its junction with A598 Finchley Road

(6) turn right from the northern or southern arm of Cricklewood Lane into Hendon Way at its junction with A41 Hendon Way

(7) proceed directly between the northern or southern arm of Cricklewood Lane at its junction with A41 Hendon Way

Access to Gath Road and Cloister Road will not be blocked at the same time to allow local access.
Between the dates of 12th February 2018 and 15th August 2018, each night Monday - Friday from 10:00PM to 5:00 AM or when the works have been completed whichever is sooner.
4. The prohibitions will not apply in respect of:

(1) Any vehicle being used for the purposes of those works or for fire brigade, ambulance or police purposes;

(2) Anything done with the permission or at the direction of a police constable in uniform or a person authorised by Transport for London.

5. At such times as the prohibition is in force an alternative route will be indicated by traffic signs:

Traffic wishing to proceed onto the A41 Hendon Way from its junction with Garth Road follow: Garth Road, Cloister Road to normal route of traffic and the reverse. Traffic wishing to proceed onto the A41 Hendon Way from its junction with Cloister Road follow: Cloister Road, Garth Road to normal route of traffic and reverse. Traffic wishing to proceed onto A407 Cricklewood Lane northside from A 407 Cricklewood Lane southside at its junction with the A41 Hendon Way follow: A41 Hendon Way (northbound). The Vale (northbound), Hodford Road (northbound), A502 Golders Green Road (westbound),
A598 Finchley Road (southbound) to normal route of traffic or reverse. Traffic wishing to proceed onto A407 Cricklewood Lane northside from A41 Hendon Way follow: A41 Hendon Way, Finchley Road, Cricklewood Lane to normal route of travel or reverse. Traffic wishing to proceed onto A407 Cricklewood Lane (southbound) from A407 Cricklewood Lane (northbound) at its junction with the A41 Hendon Way follow: Lyndale Avenue (southbound), A598 Finchley Road (southbound), A41 Hendon Way (northbound) to normal route of traffic. Traffic wishing to proceed on A407 Cricklewood Lane (southbound) from the A41 Hendon Way follow: A41 Hendon Way (northbound), A407 Cricklewood Lane (northbound), A598 Finchley Road (southbound), B510 Fortune Green Road (southbound). Mill Lane, A5 Shoot-Up Hill (northbound), A5 Cricklewood Broadway (northbound) to normal route of traffic or reverse. Traffic wishing to proceed onto the A41 Hendon Way (northbound) from its junction with A407 Cricklewood Lane (southbound) follow: Lyndale Avenue (southbound), A598 Finchley Road (southbound), to normal route of traffic. Traffic wishing to proceed onto the A41 Hendon Way (southbound) from its junction with A407 Cricklewood Lane (northbound) follow: Greenfield Gardens (northbound), The Vale (northbound) to normal route of traffic. Traffic wishing to proceed onto the A41 Hendon Way (southbound) from its junction with A407 Cricklewood Lane (southbound) follow: Farm Avenue (southbound), Hocroft Road (northbound), Ranulf Road (southbound), Lyndale (northbound) to normal route of traffic. Traffic wishing to proceed onto A598 Finchley Road (northbound) from the A41 Hendon Way (southbound) follow: A407 Cricklewood Lane (northbound) to normal route of traffic. Traffic wishing to proceed onto A598 Finchley Road (northbound) from the A598 Finchley Road (southbound) at its junction with the A41 Hendon Way follow: A41 Hendon Way (northbound), A407 Cricklewood Lane to normal route of traffic. Traffic wishing to proceed onto the A41 Hendon way (northbound) from the A598 Finchley Road (southbound) follow: A598 Finchley Road (southbound), Burgees Hill (southbound), Ranulf Road (northbound), Hocroft Road (southbound), Farm Avenue (northbound), A407 Cricklewood Lane (northbound) to normal route of traffic. Traffic wishing to proceed onto Hocroft Avenue or Hocroft Road from the A41 Hendon Way (northbound) follow: A41 Hendon Way (northbound), A407 Cricklewood Lane (southbound), Farm Avenue (southbound) to normal route of traffic and the reverse. Traffic wishing to proceed onto the A41 Hendon Way (northbound) from Lyndale follow: Ranulf Road (northbound), Hocroft Road (southbound), Farm Avenue (northbound), Hocroft Avenue to normal route of traffic. Traffic wishing to proceed onto Lyndale from the A41 Hendon Way (northbound) follow: A41 Hendon Way (northbound), A407 Cricklewood Lane (southbound), Farm Avenue (southbound), Hocroft Road (northbound), Ranulf Road (southbound) to normal route of traffic.
