Notice of Temporary Traffic Order Harwell Footpaths 243/7 and 243/11 closures Closure commenced: 19 January 2018 Date of Order: 5 February Coming into force: 9 February This Order continues in force an emergency closure Notice put in place for safety reasons because of residential development works which are anticipated to take two years to complete.The effect of the order is to close temporarily (1) Footpath 243/7 until further notice, north-westwards from its junction with Grove Road, and using an alternative permissive route to the south and west around the works site; (2) Footpath 243/11 (closed only until 18 July 2018) between the junctions of Barrow Road and Grove Road with an alternative route using The Croft.

Exemptions are included for emergency services and for the works and for pedestrian access to premises which are only accessible from the closed section of the footpaths.Appropriate signs will be displayed to indicate when the measures are in force.

This Order will remain in force for an initial period of 6 months and may be extended with the consent of the Department for Transport.
